Anticyclone will bring unusual weather for Ukrainians on New Year: meteorologist's forecast.

Ukraine prepares to meet the New Year with abnormally warm weather
On December 31, Ukrainians will receive a gift from the anticyclone that has engulfed Europe and brings a lack of precipitation for the holidays. It is forecasted that the air temperature will vary from +2 to +5 degrees, and in the south even up to +10 degrees. Kyiv residents can enjoy a maximum temperature of +3 degrees.
According to meteorologist Natalka Didenko, by the end of the year and at the beginning of January, strengthening winds from the west are expected.
On New Year's Eve, the air temperature will be around zero degrees, and on the first day of 2025, Ukrainians will be pleased with temperatures from +4 to +9 degrees, and in the south even up to +11.
A sunny and cloudless start of the year is predicted, but on January 3-4, a significant drop in temperature across Ukraine is expected.
The meteorologist recommends that citizens take into account the forecasted weather conditions and consume alcohol in moderation while planning New Year events.
