Successful operation to eliminate Russian occupier Gennady Makarychev

The Defense Forces successfully carried out an operation to eliminate the Russian occupier Gennady Makarychev. This was reported by the General Staff.

The occupier Makarychev was born on November 8, 1991.

Before joining the occupation forces, Makarychev played for the football club 'Metallurg' in the city of Kolchugino (Vladimir region of Russia), where he played as a defender.

He also worked as a coach for a children's football team.

The elimination of the occupier Makarychev occurred on March 10, 2025, he left behind a son who is also involved in football with a children's team.

Earlier, it was reported about the elimination of two more Russian brothers-occupiers - Rasul and Timur Amirov.

On Saturday, March 15, a farewell took place in the village of Novo-Kurmanovo, Kunashevsky district (Chelyabinsk region of Russia) for the occupier Timur Amirov. He was a coach at the Olympic reserve sports school for football 'Signal'.

Timur Amirov was a graduate of this sports school, after serving in the army he returned there as a coach and worked there for four years. Last summer, Timur went to serve in the Russian army.

Six months before, Timur's older brother Rasul Amirov, who also played football and was a graduate of the football school 'Signal', was killed in the war.

Former Russian national team footballer Dmitry Sennikov has been placed on the database of the website 'Peacemaker'.

The ex-footballer is known as an accomplice in crimes committed by the Russian authorities against Ukraine and its citizens.

In September 2021, Sennikov illegally visited annexed Crimea.

On February 22, 2025, Sennikov participated in a propaganda event in Tambov, where a children's football festival 'Championship of Champions' took place. The children of participants in the Russian invasion of Ukraine were gathered into the team 'Champions of Heroes'.

Dmitry Sennikov was born on June 24, 1976.

On March 27, 2002, he made his debut for the Russian national team in a friendly match against Estonia. That same year he went to the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea, where he played in one group stage match against Belgium.

Two years later, he participated in the 2004 European Championship in Portugal and played in all three group matches against Spain, Portugal, and Greece, but the team did not advance to the next stage.

Throughout his career in the Russian national team, Sennikov made 26 appearances.

Sennikov also became a champion of Russia twice with 'Lokomotiv'.
