Golden ring hiding a 1800-year-old secret found in France.

In France, archaeologists have discovered a rare gold ring with a Roman depiction of Venus Victrix, the goddess of victory. This find helps us peek into the past and see how people lived in the Roman Empire. This was reported by Live Science.
The ring was found near the town of Pasa in Brittany, close to an ancient Roman road. It has been exceptionally well-preserved, according to the National Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research of France (INRAP).
The ring features a nickel stone that has a blue hue and exquisitely carved image of 'Venus Victrix'. This stone is surrounded by a gold setting with intricate patterns, adding elegance to the piece of jewelry.
Archaeologists date the ring to the 2nd-3rd centuries A.D., when this region belonged to the Roman Empire. It is likely that nearby the road where this item was found, there was a settlement serving travelers. Who owned this ornament and how it ended up on the road remains a mystery.
Additionally, artifacts from a later period were found on this site, including remnants of a medieval village dated to the 9th-10th centuries. Archaeologists discovered foundations of houses, fields, pastures, and underground grain storage. The village was built of wood, plaster, and earth, with roofs covered with plant material.
A very interesting find - dozens of coins from the Carolingian era, rulers whose empire covered much of modern France. This period was known for frequent Viking raids, which weakened the Carolingian Empire. Scientists suggest that the village inhabitants may have abandoned it due to the threat of attacks.
Accident in China
A man in China accidentally dropped his son's fiancée's ring into the sewer, this piece of jewelry cost him 190 thousand dollars. He hired a rescue team, which cleared the sewage system to retrieve the ring. This unfortunate incident happened when the man was filming a video with the ring while standing by the window.
