Zelensky calls for a response to shelling from Russia

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called on his partners to seriously intervene in the ongoing shelling by Russia that disrupts international efforts to end the war. He stated this in his evening address on March 29.

In one day, 172 drone strikes were recorded, most of which were carried out by 'Shaheds'. There were also missile threats and ballistic strikes. Zelensky emphasized that these attacks by Russia harm not only Ukrainians but also all international efforts and diplomatic actions aimed at ending the war. Russia is trying to end the war by attacking all who desire peace.

It is impossible to ignore hundreds of 'Shaheds' every evening. We expect a serious reaction. We are working towards that reaction. A strong response is very important, especially from America, Europe, and the whole world. Russia needs to be compelled to make peace, and only pressure will bring results.

The President also expressed gratitude to partners who are working on new sanctions against Russia.

In Dnipro, the aftermath of the massive attack by 'Shaheds' is being addressed. Fires have been extinguished, but there has been significant destruction and damage. Four private houses were destroyed, and at least ten were damaged. Apartment buildings, a school, an administrative building, warehouses, and garages were also affected. Dozens of cars and motorcycles were smashed.

The number of those injured as a result of the shelling has risen to 24 individuals.

In connection with this, Dnipro announced March 30 as a day of mourning for the four people killed as a result of the Russian strike.

A missile strike by Russia on Kryvyi Rih has also been recorded.
