Zelensky at the meeting with Trump: 'Together we can stop Putin'.


The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, began an important meeting with US President Donald Trump at the White House.
During the conversation, Zelensky emphasized the need for joint efforts to stop the war in Ukraine and halt Russian aggression.
“You said that enough is enough with the war. I think it is very important to say these words to Putin right at the beginning. And I hope that together we can stop him,” Zelensky said, emphasizing the importance of protecting Ukrainian values, freedom, and democracy.
He also noted that to successfully fight, Ukraine needs help in air defense, emphasizing that the US has the best technologies in the world in this area.
“You helped us during the Russian attacks, and we want to discuss the possibility of exchanging licenses for these systems,” the Ukrainian leader added.
The Ukrainian delegation at the meeting included the head of the President's Office Andriy Sibiga, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Issues Yulia Svyrydenko, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Olha Stefanishyna, Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sibiga, and Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov.
On February 28, Zelensky met with Trump at the White House
Zelensky was greeted at the White House by servicemen carrying 56 flags of all American states and territories, as well as the flags of the US and Ukraine. This is Zelensky's fifth visit to the White House.
