The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the losses of the Russian occupiers as of the morning of Tuesday, April 8, 2025.
Russia's losses in the war as of April 8, 2025
As of April 8, the Russian Federation has lost in the war with Ukraine:
- personnel – about 926310 (+1290) people,
- tanks – 10572 (+5) units,
- combat armored vehicles – 22011 (+14) units,
- artillery systems – 25860 (+43) units,
- MLRS – 1359 (+3) units,
- air defense systems – 1126 (+2) units,
- airplanes – 370 (+0) units,
- helicopters – 335 (+0) units,
- operational-tactical UAVs – 31917 (+43),
- cruise missiles – 3145 (+0),
- ships/boats – 28 (+0) units,
- submarines – 1 (+0) unit,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 43227 (+107) units,
- special equipment – 3792 (+2).
Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of April 8
- No enemy ships are present in the Black Sea;
- No enemy ships are present in the Azov Sea;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there are three enemy ships, all of which are carriers of Caliber cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 26 missiles
Within a day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the following passed through the Kerch Strait:
- to the Black Sea – two ships, of which two ships continued moving towards the Bosporus Strait;
- to the Azov Sea – three ships, of which two ships continued moving from the Bosporus Strait.
As is known, the full-scale war in Ukraine has now lasted 1140 days.
