A military man and editor of TSN.ua has died
On March 18, Dmytro Biendikov, a military man and editor of the TSN.ua website, died on the front line. His death occurred during combat actions in Luhansk region, where he was born. This was reported by Glavkom, citing 1+1 media.
Dmytro joined the Defense Forces of Ukraine in 2024 and served in the Third Separate Assault Brigade in the east.
Before being drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro worked as an editor of the TSN.ua website since June 2023. He also had experience working at other publications, including RBC-Ukraine and UBR.
Our Dima on the shield. These are the hardest words I have to say. Dima was from Eastern Ukraine, and that’s where he died. He fought for a piece of land where he was born and gave his life for that land. He is our Friend, our Colleague, our Defender. He always had a smile, always knew how to joke and find words that made everyone smile and see the positive. We all waited for his return from the front, but he joked: 'Well, Trump promised to end the war in 24 hours, so wait a little longer.' Dima is a bright person, a person of positivity, a person who never leaves anyone behind,” said Svitlana Panushkina, head of TSN.ua.
According to the Institute of Mass Information, the death of Dmytro Biendikov was the 102nd among media workers who died during the war with Russia.
On the night of February 26, a Russian drone attacked the village of Kryukivshchyna in Kyiv region, hitting a residential building. This attack targeted the home of the head of the Department of Surgery No. 3 of the O.O. Bohomolets National Medical University, Professor Pavlo Ivanchov, and journalist Tetiana Kulyk.
The head of the HUR, Kyrylo Budanov, reacted to the deaths of journalist Tetiana Kulyk and surgeon Pavlo Ivanchov as a result of the Russian drone attack. He noted that Russia took the lives of two Ukrainian specialists, patriots, and citizens of Ukraine.
We remind you that the body of Ukrainian journalist Viktoriia Roschyna, who died in Russian captivity, was not returned to Ukraine during the recent repatriation efforts.
