The enemy has changed tactics in the Sumy region - border guards.

In the Sumy region, border guards noted that attempts of enemy invasion have decreased. It is emphasized that the enemy is actively operating only in certain sections of the border with Russia, but in recent days their activity has decreased near border units.
'Fewer attempts at invasion,' emphasized Demchenko, explaining this by the successes of Ukrainian artillerymen and drone operators who have inflicted heavy losses on the enemy. He noted that the enemy may face problems due to the losses incurred at the approaches to the border.
Shelling and enemy attack
Russian troops continue shelling in the Kharkiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions, targeting both Ukrainian military positions and civilian settlements. The enemy is using a wide arsenal of weapons, including mortars, artillery, tanks, and drones. In the Sumy region, aviation is particularly active, dropping guided and unguided bombs. Demchenko also reported that insurgents have not stopped their attempts to storm near Vovchansk in Kharkiv region.
The overall decrease in the activity of Russian reconnaissance and sabotage groups in the Sumy region indicates effective defense by Ukrainian forces and the high price the enemy pays for attempts to violate the border.
Reports of a decrease in invasion attempts in the Sumy region indicate the successful defense of Ukrainian security forces and the heavy losses suffered by the Russian side. The situation at the border remains tense, but the decrease in enemy activity may indicate a shift in events in a certain direction.Read also
