In Ukraine, registration of pets in administrative service centers will be launched: who is mandatory to follow the procedure.

A new pet registration service in Kyiv
A new pet registration service is being launched in Kyiv through Administrative Services Centers. This information was made public by the Kyiv City Council.
Starting from May 12, residents of the capital will be able to register their pets at any ASC in the city.
According to the director of the municipal enterprise 'Kyiv City Veterinary Medicine Hospital' Serhii Saburov, all dogs are required to be registered, while registration for cats is voluntary.
Saburov explained: 'First and foremost, this is a safety issue, as in the event of a pet escaping, having registration data significantly increases the chances of its swift return home. At the same Time, up-to-date information about the number of pets in the city will allow for more effective planning of infrastructure development and compliance with veterinary and sanitary standards.'
To register a pet, the owner only needs to fill out form No. 1, which is provided at the ASC, and present a receipt for the service payment.
After the registration process is completed, the pet will be assigned a unique identification number, and the owner will receive an official registration certificate confirming ownership rights.
This new service will be available at all administrative service centers in Kyiv starting next Monday.
It is worth noting that a pet register was created in Ukraine based on 'Diia'.
