In Ukraine, it is proposed to cancel school exams for grades 4, 9, and 11.

A bill has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine proposing radical changes to the student knowledge assessment system. The main idea is to completely abolish the state final certification (SFC) for students in grades 4, 9, and 11.
This was reported by "Khvylya", referring to the document card.
The initiators of the bill justify their proposal by the difficult situation arising from martial law and the aggression of the Russian Federation, which have a serious impact on the education system in Ukraine. According to the deputies, the current situation requires a review of traditional methods of knowledge assessment.
The bill provides for the continuation of the practice of entrance exams in 2025 in electronic format. Among the proposed changes is an update to the list of compulsory subjects for the National Multisubject Test (NMT). According to the bill, it will include the Ukrainian language, mathematics, Ukrainian history, and a subject of choice. Selection options include a foreign language, biology, geography, physics, chemistry, and Ukrainian literature.
It was also previously reported that Ukraine plans to carry out a reform of secondary education. In particular, it is proposed to change the duration of schooling.
