The Ukrainian command plans prolonged preparation for combat operations

The military command of Ukraine is working to ensure that training for combat participation lasts at least two months. This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.

During a meeting, Syrskyi stated: 'Right now, we are working on creating conditions for the training to last 2 months. Because quality training is, above all, preserving the life and health of our soldiers.'

We are currently working on creating conditions for the overall training to last 2 months. After all, quality training is, above all, preserving the life and health of our soldiers.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces noted that there have already been results from the decisions made regarding the training of servicemen. Thus, instead of 30 days of training, there are now the first groups of servicemen who have completed basic general military training within 1.5 months.

However, Syrskyi emphasized that after this, the new recruits must undergo a novice course in their military unit lasting from 5 to 14 days.

However, the conditions of intense combat do not always allow for this requirement to be met.

He emphasized the necessity of ensuring a full, 14-day adaptation period for new recruits in the brigades. Commanders must prepare the soldier as thoroughly as possible for the challenges of modern warfare to keep him in the fight. I listened to reports on the problems of training and their solutions. Tasks were identified to improve the quality of training and its enhancement. In particular, the updating of BZV standards, conducting BZV based on combat brigades, etc. I thank the commanders who take their responsibility for training and maintaining personnel seriously. We continue our work in this important direction. Glory to Ukraine!

Let us remind you that an emergency decision on the armor of military personnel was made in Ukraine.
