According to the forecasts of Doctor of Social Economics Zenovy Svereida, the state of food products in the diets of Ukrainians will significantly worsen by 2025. The main reasons for such an increase in prices are high inflation, armed conflicts, and a labor shortage due to the mobilization of men.
According to the economist: 'The fact that bankers are showing an inflation rate of 9.7% this month means that prices for buckwheat and other products will increase by 20-25%. It makes more sense to buy all products in bulk - 10 kilograms at a Time, rather than one kilogram. Usually, food prices increase in spring and winter, but we also have inflation, armed conflict, and a shortage of men added. These factors will lead to an overall price increase of 10-15%.'
