Fraudsters posing as CCC employees exposed in Odesa.

A group of individuals posing as CCC and police officers was exposed by law enforcement. They blackmailed men of conscription age, demanding money. This was reported by the National Police.
Three persons from Odesa and one native of Donetsk region organized this scheme. They stopped men in the street.
The perpetrators, using military and police uniforms, threatened with forced delivery to the CCC, but for money offered to avoid this. If the "detainees" refused, the perpetrators applied physical and psychological violence.
In one case, the perpetrators waited for a man near his home. He was accused of absenteeism during mobilization and was threatened with delivery to the CCC. Then the perpetrators beat him and received $3,000.
One of the participants in the scheme was a former police officer accused of numerous crimes. Two others had legal issues — involving minors in crimes, committing robberies and thefts.
The perpetrators were caught "red-handed". Law enforcement conducted searches and found uniforms, money, bank cards, mobile phones, weapons, drugs, and other means for their consumption. Participants in the scheme face up to 12 years in prison.
Recall other detentions
In Volyn, a Russian agent planning new airstrikes on the region was exposed. He was recruited by a Russian intelligence officer. The suspect attempted to transmit information to the aggressor about the location of the Armed Forces, SBU, and National Police.
Also detained were the head of the district territorial recruitment center in Zakarpattia and the deputy commander of one of the territorial defense brigades. They demanded money from a conscript to avoid mobilization.
