Russia used a North Korean ballistic missile in a nighttime attack on Kyiv, resulting in at least 10 deaths. This was reported by a Ukrainian military source. According to him, the KN-23 missile hit a residential building in the Svyatoshyn district. After the strike, dozens of people were considered missing, and some of them may have been trapped under the rubble. Russia has not yet commented on this strike, but it stated that it is attacking military targets. According to intelligence, North Korea supplies Russia with a lot of weapons, including missiles, and maintains military cooperation with Moscow.
According to Ukrainian military intelligence, North Korea has transferred 148 ballistic missiles of the KN-23 and KN-24 types to Russia. The KN-23 missiles are equipped with powerful warheads and are more powerful than their Russian counterparts. The Ukrainian military command also noted that seven missiles, which are generally considered Iskander-M/KN-23, were used during the strike.
North Korea's involvement in the war against Ukraine raises concerns in South Korea and among the Asian public. South Koreans and their allies are worried that Russia will gain additional military experience that could be used against them in the future.
