Ukrposhta's General Director Ihor Smiianskyi announced the company's plans to provide banking services starting in 2025. The bill allowing Ukrposhta to offer financial services has already passed its first reading in parliament. This will be possible for people with disabilities and residents of regions where there are no banks, providing access to banking services.
Smiianskyi also announced the digital transformation of postal workers, which will involve equipping them with mini-computers for offline work. This will allow postal workers to provide services where there are no banks.
