Ukrainians in Poland warned about new rules for obtaining a residence card.


Changes in the rules for applying for residence cards and EU resident cards in the Greater Poland Voivodeship
From October 1, 2024, new rules for submitting applications for residence cards and EU resident cards will come into force in the Greater Poland Voivodeship. These changes are intended to simplify the process and reduce Time costs for applicants, reports 'I in Poland'.
From now on, all applications must be submitted exclusively to the Department of Foreigners Affairs of the Voivodeship Office in Poznań or to one of four delegations in smaller towns.
1. Poznań:
The Greater Poland Voivodeship Office in Poznań, Department of Foreigners Affairs, Wolności Square 17, 61-739 Poznań.
2. Kalisz:
The Delegation of the Greater Poland Voivodeship Office in Kalisz, Kolegiacka Street 4, 62-800 Kalisz.
3. Konin:
The Delegation of the Greater Poland Voivodeship Office in Konin, Aleje 1 Maja 7, 62-510 Konin.
4. Leszno:
The Delegation of the Greater Poland Voivodeship Office in Leszno, Kościuszki Square 4, 64-100 Leszno.
5. Piła:
The Delegation of the Greater Poland Voivodeship Office in Piła, Dzieci Polskich Street 26, 64-920 Piła.
From October 1, 2024, online registration for queuing to obtain a residence card at the voivodeship office will no longer be available.
Applicants are recommended to send fully completed and signed applications along with all necessary attachments and proof of payment. Lack of documents may result in a delay in processing the case.
For the convenience of applicants, submitting applications through the MOS portal is encouraged. Personal attendance for providing biometric data (fingerprints) and presenting a passport will be possible after submitting the application and scheduling an appointment through the case status tracking system.
