Ukrainians will be able to receive financial assistance for preparation for the cold: who will be affected.

Financial assistance for preparation for the cold may be received by Ukrainians living in four regions of the country. This is reported by the charitable foundation "Smile UA" on its Facebook page. Through a project carried out with the support of the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund (UHF), funds are provided for heating services for internally displaced persons preparing for the winter of 2024-2025.
The assistance will be available to residents of Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The program aims to ease the financial burden associated with heating for internally displaced persons during the cold season.
The target audience of the program is the most vulnerable categories of displaced persons.
Among the recipients of assistance are single heads of households or women who lead families, people with disabilities, elderly people over 60 years old, families with three or more children of primary and middle school age, people with chronic or serious illnesses, households where one family member has been unemployed since February 2022, as well as families registered at the social welfare center.
Internally displaced persons wishing to receive financial support for heating payments must apply online by October 18, 2024.
This project is designed to ease the lives of the most vulnerable groups of displaced persons during the winter period.
