Ukrainians can get benefits for utilities and heating: who will benefit.

Ukrainians were told how to get benefits for utilities
Veterans of war and participants in hostilities were explained how to get benefits for utilities and heating of houses. This information was provided by the Donetsk Regional Social Security Center and Social Protection.
According to the rules of preferential payment for housing, a discount is provided for every permanently registered beneficiary for 21 square meters of total area, and for the entire family - an additional 10.5 square meters.
The same formula is used for heating payments, but taking into account the heated area - 21 square meters are provided for each beneficiary, and for the family - another 10.5 square meters.
Families with disabled persons are provided with special conditions. They can receive a discount of 50%, 75% or 100% on gas heating depending on the category of benefits. At the same Time, the preferential area for these families is doubled: 42 square meters per beneficiary and 21 square meters per family.
To receive benefits, a person must be included in the Register of Persons Entitled to Benefits and submit a package of documents to the Ukrainian Pension Fund authorities.
An application for entry into the Register of Persons Entitled to Benefits can be submitted in person, by mail, or electronically through a personal account on the Ukrainian Pension Fund's web portal for electronic services.
The package of documents should also be submitted to the Ukrainian Pension Fund authorities and the regional representative of the service provider. The provider of communal services must indicate the mark in the service provision contract.
Payment for communal services at preferential rates starts from the moment the consumer submits the application. Individuals residing in buildings without central heating and having the appropriate status are granted discounts on the purchase of solid fuel or liquefied gas.
