Ukrainian athletes on the seventh day of the Paralympic Games in Paris won seven new medals. In particular, they won four gold and three silver medals. This was reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Swimming
- Yaroslav Denysenko – gold in the 100 m freestyle event (class S12)
- Andriy Trusov – gold in the 50 m freestyle event (class S7)
- Marina Piddubna, Oleksii Virchenko, Yaroslav Denysenko, Anna Stetsenko – gold in the 4x100 m freestyle relay (mixed)
- Maxim Veraksa – silver in the 100 m freestyle event (class S12)
- Anna Stetsenko – silver in the 100 m freestyle event (class S12)
Athletics
- Anastasiia Moskalenko – gold in the shot put (class F32)
- Maria Shpatkivska – silver in the shot put (class F46)
Currently, the Ukrainian team is in seventh place in the medal standings. They have already won 52 medals: 13 gold, 18 silver, and 21 bronze.
The competition will continue until September 8.
