The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has defined the main objectives for 2025. Special attention will be paid to the implementation of the digital system 'e-Consul', which has already received the necessary legislative framework. This was reported by MFA spokesperson Georgiy Tikhiy during a briefing.

Summing up the results of 2024, the ministry noted that this period was breakthrough for bilateral relations between Ukraine and China. Five main tasks for the next year have been identified.

First of all, this is the preservation and strengthening of military support for Ukraine from international partners, even during election processes in these countries. Another important priority is the removal of restrictions on the supply and use of weapons.

The second direction will be the activation of cooperation with China, India, and other countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. In this context, the expansion of Ukraine's diplomatic presence in the world and the development of a neighborhood policy are planned.

Among other tasks - accelerating negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the European Union, especially under the presidency of Poland and Denmark, as well as continuing integration into NATO.

Particular emphasis is placed on increasing economic and political pressure on Russia. This involves strengthening international sanctions, using frozen Russian assets, and maintaining the isolation of the aggressor country.

The MFA emphasizes that the full implementation of the 'e-Consul' system will be an important step in improving consular services for Ukrainian citizens abroad.
