Yasno explained what Ukrenergo schedules mean and how they work.

The Yasno company explained the purpose of blackout queues and how it works.
According to the company's press service, Ukraine has resumed using electricity blackout schedules after Russia's attack. Residents of the country are curious to know under what conditions these blackouts occur.
According to explanations from Yasno, a queue is a group of consumers who use a certain amount of electricity. There are a total of six such queues.
Thus, the greater the electricity deficit in the system, the more consumer queues are disconnected simultaneously during stabilization restrictions.
The number of simultaneously restricted queues shows how serious the electricity supply situation is:
- One queue: power outages up to 4 hours a day.
- Two queues: no power up to 8 hours daily.
- Three queues: no electricity up to 12 hours a day.
- Four queues: more than 12 hours without power, including outages in areas marked light gray on the schedules.
- Five or six queues: an emergency has occurred, planned outage schedules are not in effect, emergency power outages are occurring.
"Ukrenergo" determines how many queues are subject to power supply restrictions. After that, each regional energy company (oblenergo) independently decides which blackout schedules to use in their region and which queues to disconnect.
Please note that the system of 6 blackout queues is mainly used by DTEK, Yasno, and also "Ukrenergo" for the regions. However, in other regional energy companies, the number of queues may be different - both more and less than six.
We remind you that DTEK announced the cancellation of emergency power outages in Kyiv and the regions.
