Ukraine has adopted the cybersecurity action plan for 2025

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a resolution on the approval of the action plan for 2025 for the implementation of the Cybersecurity Strategy. The government portal reports that this document was developed by specialists of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine and sets tasks for various areas that must be completed throughout the year.

Among the areas are regulatory and legal support for activities in the field of cybersecurity, development of the organizational and technological component of the national cybersecurity system, and cooperation with Ukraine's international partners. In addition, the plan includes measures to ensure the cybersecurity of critical infrastructure facilities and government agencies, as well as the development of a training system for specialists in the field of cybersecurity.

As noted by the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Oleg Nemchinov, a significant increase in the number and range of cyberattacks aimed at disrupting the operation of information and communication systems has been recorded in Ukraine. This directly affects national security and defense. He also noted that in order to ensure the state's cybersecurity, it is necessary to implement comprehensive measures and systemic technical solutions.

For the implementation of the measures provided for in the Cybersecurity Strategy, UAH 468.8 million has been allocated in the State Budget for 2025 for various executors.
