The brigade received new equipment and supplies from the charity fund 'Steel Front of Rinat Akhmetov'

The 157th separate motorized infantry brigade received a new batch of equipment and supplies necessary for performing combat tasks from the initiative 'Steel Front of Rinat Akhmetov'. The military was provided with ten ATVs, three delivery vans, a 45-seat bus, and twenty trailers for evacuation. The unit also received twenty-five charging stations, six computers, four generators, three welding machines, Starlinks, antennas, and radio parts.

ATVs and evacuation trailers will enable faster transport of the injured and delivery of ammunition to the most difficult sections of the front. The cargo transport and bus will enhance the mobility of the unit, allowing for operational position changes and rotations. Generators and charging stations will ensure the autonomous operation of equipment and communication, while computers will be used for analyzing reconnaissance data.

“In modern warfare, mobility is not just an advantage; it is a matter of life and death. Thanks to such support, the brigade will be able to move faster and respond to changing conditions on the battlefield,” said one of the commanders of the 157th OMBr.

In 'Steel Front', they emphasize that the transfer of equipment and supplies is part of a systematic aid to the army that has been ongoing since the first days of the full-scale invasion.

“Our task is to provide the military with everything necessary so that they can effectively carry out combat missions and save the lives of soldiers. We work in coordination with the units to deliver exactly what is critically needed at the front,” said Anton Goncharuk, a representative of the initiative.

As it is known, the 157th separate mechanized brigade, established in 2024, protects Ukraine in the Eastern direction. In total, 'Steel Front' has already directed over 55 million UAH to support the brigade.

“Steel Front” is a joint initiative of all businesses of Rinat Akhmetov, which combines their assistance to the defense forces of Ukraine. Currently, the amount directed by Rinat Akhmetov to support Ukraine has exceeded 11.3 billion UAH.
