Scholz declares Putin's failure in Ukraine and readiness to still call the Kremlin.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz confirmed his readiness to restore dialogue with Russian President Vladimir Putin and emphasized that Europe will continue to support Ukraine. He also expressed the belief that coordination between the United States and Europe is very important for resolving the crisis in Ukraine.
According to Scholz, Ukraine's allies are consulting on possible ways to achieve peace and are working on creating security guarantees for the country. In his opinion, a simple ceasefire cannot be a lasting peace, and all decisions regarding Ukraine must be made with its direct participation.
The Chancellor noted that he agreed on the necessity of close coordination with the future President of the United States, Donald Trump, during their telephone conversation.
Scholz also stated that Germany is ready to play a key role in creating and implementing security guarantees for Ukraine.
When it came to the possibility of sending German troops to Ukraine, Scholz was categorical. He stated that no German soldier would be sent to this war. Instead, he called for a focus on strengthening military assistance to Ukraine.
Despite certain concerns, the Chancellor expressed confidence in the possibility of achieving a coordinated policy regarding Ukraine between the US and Europe. He noted that Trump wants to end the war but understands that this is only possible with Ukraine's military power.
