Scholz also stated that Germany will continue to provide Ukraine with the necessary support to defend its independence.
I just received a call from Chancellor Scholz, who briefed me on his conversation with W. Putin. I was pleased to hear that the Chancellor not only unequivocally condemned the Russian aggression but also reiterated the Polish position: nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine.
