Special Operations Forces explained why North Korea sends soldiers to fight against Ukraine.

North Korea sends its soldiers to aid Russia
North Korea is sending its military personnel to assist Russia in gaining combat experience and preparing for a possible war. According to the Special Operations Forces (SOF), North Korean soldiers have been ordered to carry out missions even at the cost of their lives in order to protect the party and the interests of Kim Jong-un. This confirms the dictator's attitude towards his troops.
Kim Jong-un is trying to conceal the fact that he is dispatching his soldiers to assist Russia in the war against Ukraine.
Translation of a note from North Korean SOF Military Gyeong Hong Jong:
Task: The most important of them is the front of anti-imperialist and class struggle, and the most vital task is combat readiness. The slogan 'All forces - to complete preparations for war!' is vital for our armed forces. Some information cannot be disclosed as it is classified. Our goal is readiness to perform any tasks even at the cost of death.
Let us remind you that the operators of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Special Operations Forces continue to destroy North Korean soldiers in Kursk. In a temporary notebook found on a defeated North Korean soldier, there were entries from Jong, who congratulated another soldier on his birthday.
SOF also published a second part of entries from the trophy notebook of a North Korean soldier who was eliminated in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. The latter belonged to a special forces unit.
