Russian Army Shelling Damaged Two Hospitals in Sumy Region

Two hospitals in the Sumy region were damaged as a result of shelling by the Russian army. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the first deputy minister of health, Serhiy Dubrov.

'The enemy continues to target Ukrainian hospitals, once again violating all norms of international humanitarian law. Last night, two medical facilities in the Sumy region were struck. The enemy also targeted a hospital in the city of Krasnopillia with kamikaze drones.

'As a result of the strike from six kamikaze drones, the building suffered significant damage, and a fire broke out. Fortunately, staff and patients were in shelter. 60 people were evacuated, including 7 mobility-impaired patients,' Dubrov reported.

According to the first deputy minister, Ukraine's medical system continues to operate even under such conditions. All evacuated patients receive necessary assistance.

It is worth noting that in the early hours of March 19, Russian forces struck the energy system of the railway in Dnipropetrovsk region with drones. 'During the elimination of the consequences, the enemy struck again. Fortunately, there were no casualties. An order has been issued for the railway fire train to be deployed to extinguish the fire at the site,' the statement said.
