Russia launched a record number of drones against Ukraine.


On December 12, a combined aerial assault by the enemy on Ukraine began. A total of 287 attack vehicles have been detected, including 94 missiles and 193 UAVs. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
How aerial targets are identified in the Defense Forces
- Four Kh-47M2 'Kinzhal' missiles were launched from MiG-31K;
- Two 'Iskander-M' missiles were launched from the Bryansk region and Crimea;
- One KN-23 missile was launched from the Bryansk region;
- 55 Kh-101 and Kh-55SM missiles were launched from Tu-95MS in the Volgograd region;
- 24 'Kalibr' missiles were launched in the Black Sea;
- Seven 'Iskander-K' missiles were launched in the Voronezh and Rostov regions;
- One guided aviation missile Kh-59/KH-69 was launched over the Luhansk region;
- 193 Shahed drones and unknown type drones were detected in various regions of Russia.
The enemy's air assaults were repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups. The effectiveness of F-16 aircraft was demonstrated.
Currently confirmed destruction:
- 80 Kh-101/Kh-55SM/'Kalibr'/'Iskander-K' missiles;
- 1 'Iskander-M' missile;
- 80 Shahed drones and unknown type drones.
In addition, due to the counteraction of the Defense Forces, 105 enemy drones did not reach their targets, 5 returned to Russia, and one to Belarus.
Russia broke its record of launching 188 drones, which was set on November 26.
It is reminded that in the morning air raid alarms sounded across the territory of Ukraine. Russian troops attacked our country. The enemy launched 93 missiles and almost 200 drones, Zelensky reported.
The Russian Federation also attacked the Ukrainian energy system, resulting in increased restrictions on electricity consumption. 50% of consumers in the Ternopil region were disconnected.
Thermal power plants of DTEK were also attacked. Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko reported that energy workers are trying to prevent the consequences of the attack.
On the night of Thursday, November 28, Russia again carried out a massive shelling of Ukraine using 'Kalibr' missiles and Kh-101 rockets from Tu-95. Energy facilities and infrastructure were attacked. Many people were left without electricity.
