Russian Military Launches Drones with Artificial Intelligence
According to The Guardian, the Russian army is starting to use artificial intelligence in drones to create a 'swarm of drones'. These drones will be able to coordinate their actions during attacks, avoiding Ukrainian air defense.
Currently, the effectiveness of this new technology is yet to be determined. Russia, according to The Guardian, launches 'hundreds' of drones weekly, but does not provide exact figures.
There has already been a recorded attack by Shahed drones in Sumy region on November 22. For the first Time, drones were used to attack living people, not objects. This information is confirmed by the head of the OVA, Artem Artyukh.
There was also a recorded drone attack in Kherson region, resulting in the deaths of two civilians. On November 17, Russian forces dropped an explosive device from a drone onto a civilian vehicle in Kherson, killing the driver. On the same day in Antonivka, an explosion from an explosive device dropped from a drone led to the death of a 51-year-old woman.
