The Czech Foreign Minister warns of the threat of Russian imperialism
The Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky warned of the ongoing threat of Russian imperialism not only for Ukraine but also for Europe and the democratic world. He was confident that this threat would remain relevant even after the war is over, and emphasized this during the conference 'Resilient Europe'.
Minister Lipavsky named three main threats to modern democratic societies: Russian imperialism, interference in democratic elections, and the need for strategic communications to counter foreign propaganda. He also reported cyberattacks on the Czech Republic from China and Russian cyberattacks on European countries.
'In an age of information warfare, silence is not neutrality. We must speak out before the Kremlin.'
In today's world, it is important to be informed and vigilant, as the threats of Russian imperialism and cyberattacks from other countries remain relevant for all democratic societies. The Czech Foreign Minister emphasized the need to improve communication strategies and actively influence the informational space to counter negative external influences.
