Leading German companies have taken responsibility for Hitler's rise to power.

German companies have accepted responsibility for strengthening the National Socialists in the 20th century
Several leading German companies, such as Siemens, BMW Group, Hugo Boss, and Adidas, have stated their responsibility for supporting the National Socialists during Adolf Hitler's Time in the early 20th century. This was reported by the BBC.
In a joint statement published in German newspapers Die Zeit, Süddeutsche Zeitung, and Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, it was noted that May 8 has become a day of remembrance for 60 million victims worldwide and a time for reflection on how this was possible.
The rise of the National Socialists to power in 1933 was impossible without collaboration with politicians, the military, the courts, and the economy. German companies helped strengthen the power of the National Socialists, promoting their own interests. Today, we, as German enterprises, take responsibility for preserving the memory of the crimes of the Nazi era.
Democracy requires participation and discussion. It is important to be aware of how fragile it is. In 1933, too many people were silent, turned a blind eye. This is our responsibility - for the past, present, and future.
Leaders of Bayer, BASF, Evonik, and Siemens called on other German companies to join this initiative. Later, 49 large companies signed the statement, including Adidas, BMW Group, Bosch, Deutsche Bahn, DHL Group, Lufthansa Group, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, Porsche, and others.
It is important to note that for Ukraine, May 8 begins with the attack on Poland in 1939, which was the cause of the outbreak of World War II. As a result of the war, between 50 and 85 million people died worldwide. This date symbolizes victory over Nazism and serves as a reminder of the horrific consequences of war.
