Tomatoes in Ukraine set another record: how much you have to pay per kilogram.

Ukraine: Tomatoes have become more expensive again
Analysts of the EastFruit project reported that tomato prices in Ukraine have set a new record. This vegetable, which is one of the favorites among Ukrainians, has become cheaper compared to last week. This was an invitation to talk about the constant increase in prices for tomatoes in the Ukrainian market.
The supply of local tomatoes has decreased, but demand remains stable, which leads to maintaining high prices. People interested in buying tomatoes must pay at least 50-60 hryvnias per kilogram. This is a 17% higher price than at the end of the previous week and a record for the last seven years.
The price increase is influenced by the increased demand from the domestic market and the rise in prices for greenhouse tomatoes, as well as limited supply.
Compared to September 2023, the price of greenhouse tomatoes has already doubled by 2.2 times.
We remind you of how prices for social products have changed in the fall.
