Polish fisherman Michał Czelkowski set a record for catching a catfish in the Oder River, catching a specimen 252 cm long. He decided to release the fish back into the river, where the catfish can continue its existence freely. Michał is proud of his achievement but remains humble, noting that he still has room to improve his fishing skills.
For Michał himself, this catch has become the largest in his fishing career in his home country of Poland. Despite the significance of the catch, the fisherman made a conscious decision and released the catfish back into its natural habitat. Although the catfish became Michał's personal record in Poland, he has achieved even greater accomplishments while fishing abroad.
