The Pension Fund explained the conditions for receiving subsidies in 2025.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine provided explanations regarding the calculation of subsidies for the current heating season. According to the new changes, the subsidy will be granted until the end of the heating season - until April 30, 2025. The calculation is made from the month in which the relevant documents were submitted. The categories of citizens entitled to receive subsidies include persons registered in housing, tenants with rental agreements, internally displaced persons, and individual builders.

An important aspect of the new changes is the increase in the maximum amount of one-Time expenses. Currently, the maximum amount is 100 thousand hryvnias, and for expenses related to the purchase of generators or special equipment, a limit of 150 thousand hryvnias has been set.

A feature of the calculation of subsidies in 2025 is the consideration of family income for the second and third quarters of 2024 and pension income for November of last year. The Pension Fund emphasizes the need for timely notification of any changes in the property or social status of the applicant to maintain the subsidy.

Experts also answered the question of how power outages would affect the amount of the subsidy. They noted that even in the event of long or intensified outages, the amount of assistance will remain unchanged since the calculation is made according to established social consumption norms.
