During a visit to Kharkiv, Norwegian ministers had to seek shelter from a Russian attack. This was reported by Norway's Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide in an interview with the newspaper VG Eide.

The head of Norwegian diplomacy considers this incident evidence of Russia's unwillingness to adhere to a ceasefire.

Espen Barth Eide and Norway's Minister of Labor and Social Integration Tonje Brenna visited Kharkiv on March 26 and 27. They discussed the implementation of the return of 90,000 Ukrainians from Norway to Ukraine after the stabilization of the situation and the cessation of hostilities. During one of the meetings, an air raid alarm went off, and members of the Norwegian government had to take shelter.

'A missile fell very close to where we were stopping. The shell hit a playground where several children had just been playing. Kharkiv is located a few dozen kilometers from the Russian border, so any talk of a mistake is out of the question. The Russians knew exactly what they were doing. This is the clearest evidence that Moscow intensifies attacks and targets civilian objects instead of preparing to end the war,' said the Foreign Minister.

He also noted that in Kyiv, they clearly understand that both Europe and the USA are important to them, but currently, they are concerned about the uncertain attitude of Donald Trump's administration towards the Kremlin.

For his part, Eide ruled out any possibility of changing the sanctions that have been in place against Russia for over three years. The Kremlin demands the lifting of restrictions on Russian banks as a condition for a ceasefire in the Black Sea.

Recall that in the evening of March 26, the Russian army used drones to attack Kharkiv, employing a new tactic to weaken the air defense system.

Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov reported that the enemy attacked Kharkiv about 12 times using combat UAVs.

President Zelensky also commented on the Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities.
