DTEK energy workers are restoring energy equipment in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk
DTEK energy workers continue to restore damaged energy equipment in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk, which was destroyed as a result of shelling. Through repair works, they are providing electrical lighting to settlements again, the company reports.
It is noted that the most damage has been restored in Dnipropetrovsk, which is constantly becoming a target of enemy attacks. Just yesterday, electricity supply was restored to 900 households.
In Donetsk, network and equipment repairs require more complexity due to active hostilities. However, energy workers do not cease their work and have already restored electricity in 108 houses that were disconnected due to shelling on November 14.
DTEK teams have repeatedly restored electricity supply in settlements located near the conflict zone and continue to do so despite the danger and shelling.
The Ministry of Energy reports that throughout this year, DTEK energy workers, owned by Rinat Akhmetov, have been shelled more than 30 times, and 6 employees have been injured.
Ukraine will ensure stable energy supply even in winter
The energy system of Ukraine meets the requirements of the winter season, and planned repairs at power plants have been completed on Time, it is reported. In addition, the European Commission and G7 countries along with other partners provide support to Ukraine, raising over 4 billion dollars for the restoration of energy infrastructure.
Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko stated that electricity supply restrictions for businesses are temporary measures and there are currently no plans to extend them.
