The Ministry of Defense adopted new quality standards for the Armed Forces of Ukraine uniform.

The Ministry of Defense established new requirements for quality control of items of logistical support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense press service.

«New requirements for quality control of items of logistical support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been established. Technical inspection and testing of product samples will be conducted using modern methods that comply with international standards», – the message says.

The new control standard, developed by the Central Department of Quality Control of the Ministry of Defense, came into effect this month.

This standard was created at the request of the military, as the demands for the quality of material support increased during the war, and technological progress in the production of materials and protective means accelerated.

The Ministry of Defense notes that the new modern standard will help suppliers better understand their rights and obligations. It defines how quality control takes place at all stages of supply, including conducting incoming control of raw materials and components, checking control samples of products, and acceptance control of goods for quality.

The military standard VST 415.002:2024(01) «Logistical support. Quality control system for items by the nomenclature of logistical support. Guidance on conducting control» is available on the website of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Reports will become more accessible thanks to digitalization

Recall that one of the key functions of the application «Army+» – report submission – will become even more accessible thanks to digitalization. Online training has also appeared in the application.

By the way, the dismissed chief of staff of the Command of Unmanned Systems Forces Roman Gladky will be replaced by the former commander of the 28th separate mechanized brigade, Colonel Oleksiy Khalbuda.
