Frontline situation as of May 9, 2025. General Staff Summary.


Recent reports indicate that over the course of a day, enemy aviation attacked our positions 22 times, launching 37 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, Russian troops used 956 kamikaze drones and carried out 3234 shelling of our positions and civilian objects.
Current events in the conflict zone
Throughout this day, 162 combat clashes were recorded. Ukrainian troops continue to defend their positions, repelling enemy attacks and inflicting losses. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Situation on the front
The greatest number of combat actions is observed in the Pokrovsk, Kursk, and Novopavlivka directions. Thanks to the actions of the Ukrainian troops, 96 enemy fighters, armored vehicles, and transport of the opponent were destroyed.
From all the above, it can be concluded that active battles continue on the front in Ukraine, where the Ukrainian troops are successfully defending their positions and inflicting significant losses to the enemy. We remind you that the conflict has been ongoing for more than 1171 days.
