Who will have their payments recalculated and when to expect the additional payment.

Automatic pension recalculation for working pensioners in Ukraine
Starting from April 1, 2025, pensions for working pensioners in Ukraine will be recalculated automatically taking into account the updated insurance record. This is already the third increase in pension payments during the war, following an 11.5% increase earlier this month for over 10 million Ukrainians.
According to the publication 'Mirror of the Week', there are currently 629 thousand working pensioners in Ukraine. The procedure for recalculating pensions for this category of citizens is defined by the law 'On Mandatory State Pension Insurance'.
Pensions will be recalculated for two categories of pensioners: those who work after their pension has been assigned and have acquired 24 months of insurance experience as of March 1 of this year, and those who have worked less than two years after the pension was assigned.
The pension calculation can be based on the earnings from which it was calculated at the Time of assignment or recalculation, or, if appropriate, taking into account the earnings received after the assignment or recalculation of the pension.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, pensions have already been increased twice and will now be recalculated for working pensioners, considering the updated insurance experience.
Despite the recalculation taking place from April 1, 2025, in fact, the increased pensions for working pensioners will only be received after the information on the payment of the single contribution for the first quarter of 2025 is submitted to the State Register of Mandatory State Social Insurance. The deadline for submitting these reports is May 10.
Pensioners who will undergo recalculation are expected to receive increased payments and an additional payment for the previous two months in June.
