China and 130 other countries: Trump expresses 'soft' optimism.

The number of countries negotiating with the US on tariffs has increased
Kevin Hassett, the head of the National Economic Council at the White House, reported that the number of countries that have reached out to the US for tariff negotiations has grown to 130.
In addition to the ongoing negotiations with China on trade issues, talks are taking place with 130 countries, stated Hassett.
Discussions on trade disputes with China are also ongoing, but they are still in the early stages.
Furthermore, the US Department of Commerce reported that a possible 'soft' dialogue is taking place between Washington and Beijing regarding trade issues through mediation.
Earlier, President Trump increased tariffs on China.
Analysis
According to the head of the National Economic Council, more and more countries are showing interest in negotiating with the US on tariffs. This indicates that other countries are also recognizing the need to address trade issues with significant consequences. Furthermore, negotiations with China are at the initial stage, which could indicate some progress in resolving trade disputes. A dialogue between the US and China has also opened up, giving hope for further resolution of trade issues.
