ISW announced the number of military equipment lost by the occupiers near Pokrovsk.

According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), since the beginning of the offensive operation in October 2023, the Russian army has lost five divisions of armored vehicles and tanks in the Pokrovsk area and during active offensive operations in the west of the Donetsk region in the summer of 2024.
In total, Russian forces have lost over 1,830 pieces of heavy equipment in the Pokrovsk region since the capture of Avdiivka.
In particular, since October 2023, 539 tanks and 1,020 infantry fighting vehicles have been destroyed during active combat operations.
The greatest losses were recorded in the summer of 2024 when Russian forces continued to advance west of Avdiivka and in other areas of the Donetsk region.
Ukrainian forces, for their part, destroyed 381 tanks and 835 infantry fighting vehicles. Additionally, Russia lost 26 infantry combat vehicles, 22 multiple launch rocket systems, 11 artillery systems, and 92 unarmored trucks.
Analysts from the Institute for the Study of War note that these figures may be understated as not all losses of Russian equipment have been visually confirmed. The actual numbers are likely even higher.
The partisan movement 'ATESH' reports that the Russian military command is sending inexperienced conscripts to the Dnipro direction and concealing losses after battles with the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The 'Dnipro' military group is also sending unequipped mobilized and conscripts to the Dnipro islands, who become easy targets. The Russian command is trying to silence data on losses by not removing the bodies of the dead. All this is done to maintain an appearance of control, which no longer exists.
It is also reported that the Russians continue to advance on the Kharkiv direction and along the entire front line. The enemy is strengthening its units near Hlyboke and building new fortifications to hold positions and continue the offensive. In the Lukianivka area, Russian troops are also strengthening their positions by conducting engineering works. In the area of the settlement of Tykhe, the enemy is actively engaged in logistics. The enemy forces conduct aerial reconnaissance to detect units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces during the night.
