The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran claims that this attack is in response to the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, and if Israel responds, it will "suffer a strong blow".
Local media report that the rockets hit Tel Aviv, as well as Dimona, Eilat, Hora, Hod Hasharon, Be'er Sheva, and Rishon Lezion.
