Identified Russians who tortured Ukrainian prisoners in Kursk jail (photo).

Volodymyr Zadorin, a former prisoner of war and marine, revealed the names of Russian prison guards who abused Ukrainian captives in Kursk Jail No. 1. This information is provided in an investigation by Slidstvo.info, reports Glavkom.
According to Zadorin, he was captured by the Russians on Snake Island and spent a year in Kursk Jail No. 1. He recognized four prison guards, who were also identified by another prisoner, Marian Vatral, who had been in this prison for 28 months.
One of the mentioned prison guards, Vitaliy Vinogradov, was responsible for controlling and conducting beatings and starvation of the prisoners. According to former captives, he ordered the use of force against them.
'Prisoners were forbidden to sit on the beds until the punishment was over. But one day all the cells broke this rule. Vinogradov decided to punish us and invited two specialists. He led everyone born in 1991 and younger into the corridor. We were brutally beaten, incredibly. And Vinogradov was finishing us off too,' recalls Vatral.
Another guard, Oleksiy Baranov, would take food from the prisoners and beat them on the head with spoons. He conducted daily inspections during which he inflicted between 50 to 100 blows with an iron spoon.
Journalists also note that Dmytro Lozhkin used dogs to attack prisoners and even imitated barking himself. He organized so-called 'races' during which a prisoner had to escape from the dog to avoid being bitten.
The fourth guard, Oleksiy Bahlai, was especially cruel to Ukrainian prisoners and currently heads the prison. According to witnesses, it was Bahlai who tried to create a 'positive impression' about the conditions of the prisoners during prosecutors' visits. But if the prisoners complained about the conditions, they were punished with beatings and deprived of walks.
It is reminded that law enforcement established a Russian commander involved in the murder of Irina Filkina. In April 2022, a photograph of the murdered woman with red manicure became known worldwide.
It was reported that Oleg Yakovlev, an occupant from the 'Storm' unit of the 30th separate motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Armed Forces, shot Ukrainian soldiers who surrendered in Donetsk region.
