FIDE temporarily suspends 18-year-old American chess player for harassment.

Grandmaster Christopher Yoo suspended for 60 days
The Ethics Commission of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) has decided to temporarily suspend American grandmaster Christopher Yoo for 60 days. This decision came into effect on May 9. The FIDE press release indicated that the complaints against Yoo were related to harassment.
Considering the seriousness of the allegations and the ongoing review, the chair of the ethics commission made the decision to temporarily suspend grandmaster Yoo to ensure the integrity of the investigation process. The decision has been officially communicated to both grandmaster Yoo and the US Chess Federation.
The ethics commission is currently continuing the investigation into two complaints against Yoo, one of which was opened by the US Chess Federation. Information regarding the second case remains confidential due to the 'sensitive nature of the allegations.'
Disqualification of Kyrylo Shevchenko
Recently, the ethics and discipline commission of the International Chess Federation disqualified former Ukrainian chess player Kyrylo Shevchenko for three years (one of which is conditional). During the Spanish championship, Shevchenko came under suspicion of cheating. After a mobile phone with a warning note was discovered in a blocked booth, the results of the first two games of the player were annulled, and he was suspended from participating in the tournament.
Analyzing the aforementioned events, one can conclude that ethical issues in chess are not uncommon and require a serious approach and the implementation of appropriate measures to maintain honesty and fairness in the game.
