Today, March 19, the youth national team of Ukraine (players no older than 2008) will play their first match of the second round of qualification for Euro 2025 (U-17). This was reported by the UAF website.

Our team is in Group A1 along with Italy, Croatia, and Slovakia. The mini-tournament of this group will take place in Croatia from March 19 to March 25. Only the group winner will advance to the final stage.

The first match against Croatia will start at 1:00 PM Kyiv Time. The broadcast will be available on the UAF YouTube channel.

The head coach of the team, Oleksandr Sytnyk, noted that they studied their opponents and are ready for the game. All teams have already participated in the first round of qualification for the European Championship.

Goalkeepers: Kyrylo Khadasievych, Yegor Krapivin, Fedir Tkachenko.

Defenders: Yegor Kostyuk, Yaroslav Mylokost, Nikita Kalyuzhny, Yegor Onishchuk, Arsen Zalypka, Mykyta Melnyk, Oleksandr Tkachenko.

Midfielders: Pavlo Lyusin, Artem Zubriy, Oleksandr Sereda, Mukhamad Dzhurabaev, Artem Muradyan, Mykola Petrovskyi, Iliya Kutya, Andriy Hamzyk, Arseniy Shyskevych.

Forwards: Dmytro Zudin, Maksym Kucheravyi.

The U-17 European Championship is a qualification for the 2025 World Cup, which will take place in Qatar with the participation of 48 national teams.

It is noteworthy that defender Maksym Talovierov left the Ukraine national team due to injury, and his place was taken by Oleksandr Svatok from the American club 'Austin'.

Maksym Talovierov suffered a knee injury while playing for his club 'Plymouth' and is returning to England for further rehabilitation.
