Two pensions instead of one: the PFCU announced important news for Ukrainians.

Ukraine will allow citizens with disabilities to receive two pensions simultaneously - one for age and one for disability. This opportunity also extends to individuals with disabilities who have lost their breadwinner.
'To receive an additional pension, it is necessary to contact the Pension Fund of Ukraine or the local social protection authority,' the representatives of the department stated.
To receive an additional pension, one must meet the age and insurance experience requirements. For individuals with 1-2 group disabilities, up to 10 years of experience is required, while for group 3 - from 1 to 14 years.
The amount of pension payments for individuals with disabilities will remain unchanged. Individuals of the 1st group are entitled to receive 100% of the living wage, which amounts to 2360 hryvnias. For group 2, 80% of the living wage is allocated, and for group 3 - 60%. Children with disabilities will receive 70% of the living wage.
The state budget for 2025 also sets minimum pension amounts. Non-working pensioners will receive no less than 2725 hryvnias, while individuals aged 65 with full service will receive 3370 hryvnias. People aged 70 to 80 will be paid from 2980 to 3240 hryvnias.
Experts recommend that citizens consult the nearest Pension Fund of Ukraine office for information on service and payment amounts.
The introduction of the possibility to receive two pension payments simultaneously will help citizens with disabilities improve their financial situation and provide a more comfortable standard of living. This is a complex but necessary initiative that will contribute to the social protection of people with disabilities and their families. Organizations working with disabled individuals consider this initiative a step in the right direction, but it still requires further improvements and development.
