Will have to go to TCC: new mobilization rules will affect pensioners.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced important changes in legislation regarding the military registration of former employees of law enforcement agencies. Now pensioners who previously worked in law enforcement agencies must register for military service and may be called up as part of mobilization.
This innovation concerns former employees of the Ministry of Defense, the National Police, and the Security Service of Ukraine who are retired. Previously, registration for military service for this category of citizens was voluntary, but now it has become mandatory.
Civil servants without reservation who have the status of military liable are subject to mobilization on par with other citizens. This applies to both active workers and retired employees of law enforcement agencies.
The Ministry set the deadline for updating data as July 16, 2024. By this date, all military liable, including retired employees of law enforcement agencies, were required to update their information. This could be done at territorial recruitment centers, through the Reserve+ system, or Centers for Administrative Services (TSNAP).
These legislative changes have become part of a comprehensive set of measures to strengthen the country's defense capability. The updated database of military liable will allow more efficient planning of mobilization measures and prompt response to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in human resources.
Thus, Ukraine is expanding its mobilization potential by attracting experienced personnel with professional experience in law enforcement agencies, even if they are retired.
