Decrease in cucumber prices on the Ukrainian market
The Ukrainian market is experiencing a decrease in cucumber prices, according to analysts from the EastFruit project. According to their data, prices for greenhouse cucumbers range from 40 to 55 hryvnias per kilogram. The price decrease occurred due to an increase in the supply of greenhouse cucumbers on the market. Even the reduction in competition from open-field cucumbers could not avoid the price decline.
“Current cucumber prices are on average 11% lower than last week,” experts note.
It is also worth noting that the prices for greenhouse cucumbers remain 150% higher compared to the same period last year.
