A part of western Ukraine will be hit by a snowstorm. Level I danger announced.


Today, January 3, significant snowfall is expected in the Carpathians at night, as well as wind gusts of 20-25 m/s and a snowstorm, warns the "Ukrhydrometcenter." Level I danger, yellow, has been announced.
Meteorologists warn that such weather conditions may complicate the work of energy, construction, and utility enterprises, as well as transportation.
As a reminder, cloudy weather is expected in Ukraine on Friday, January 3. Most regions will receive light wet snow and rain.
At night in the western, northern, and Vinnytsia regions, and during the day throughout Ukraine, except for the southeast, there will be light wet snow and rain. In Transcarpathia, significant snowfall is expected at night and moderate during the day. Icy conditions may occur on the roads of the western and northern regions.
