In the city of Samara (formerly Nowomoskovsk), located in Dnipropetrovsk, a war veteran nicknamed Yamaha was arrested and the police inflicted bodily harm on him. He has a disability. The veteran reported this on the unofficial Telegram channel of the 25th separate airborne brigade Sicheslaw.

A video was circulated on the internet showing Yamaha speaking with police officers. During the check of the documents for the car, the veteran demanded that they show him their identification, but the police officers ignored him.

According to the veteran, he was threatened with physical violence. He stated that he has a group I disability of subgroup B. The police officer responded: 'And what kind of disability do you have? In the head, right?'.

The veteran was outraged and responded with a curse. Then the officers threw him to the ground and twisted his hands. They did not respond to his cries, the explanation that he has a metal plate in his hand, and his request to get up.

As the veteran explained, he was 'arrested for requesting the police officers to present documents'. However, the police claim that Yamaha was arrested for petty public disorder.

Today, on December 12, the police of the Dnipropetrovsk region announced that an investigation into the officers' actions has been initiated.

'A video was circulated on social networks showing police officers arresting a man on the street. The leadership of the main staff initiated a service review to determine the legality of the police's actions at the scene,' the statement said.

Let us remember that in the summer, a veteran of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and a veterinarian from Odessa, Oleksiy Prytula, was insulted by a visitor to the veterinary clinic because the soldier was on prosthetics and could not immediately examine the dog during the reception.
